Hire Rates a knock-out dress for that special occasion, nothing says '
 
  highly  styles that only to you.
  Gowns will cost between £75 - £200 for a 3 day hire, depending on the garment. Each additional day costs an extra £20. Full length garments start at £100.
 
Customers wanting to use a credit card will need to open a Paypal account to use this service. It is very easy to open a Paypal account and it means that you may securely use any credit card.  If you do not have a Paypal account click here:- www.paypal.co.uk .   It's free, easy to use and takes about one minute to do! 
 
A  holding deposit will be required which will vary depending on the garment.  This money is not actually taken from your account unless you fail to return the garment.
   
  In the event of the garment not being returned in the condition in which it was hired, part or all of this deposit may be taken by Gowns About Town, to cover the repair or replacement of the said garment. We offer an optional insurance at an extra cost for accidental damage.
   
  Returning the Garment
   
  It is your responsibility to return the garment. If you wish it may be returned by Special Delivery post at your expense.
   
  Late Returns
   
    Garments that are not available for collection at the end of the hire period will be charged at a rate of £20 per day, no exceptions! If failure to return the dress coincides with another customer’s booking for the same dress, you will also be charged for the loss of business, in addition to the late return fee.
       
   

Booking an Appointment

Please include the following information when booking an appointment:-

The article numbers of the garments you wish to view.

Your name.

Your contact number.

The dates you wish to book the garment.

Your dress size and your height.

Your preferred appointment date and time.

Please state you have a skin allergy to Ariel Non- Biological or dry cleaning chemicals.

Gowns about Town cannot except any liability for any injury caused as a result of wearing a hired garment. Nor can we except any liability for allergies caused by vintage materials or the detergents used to clean them.  Please be aware that vintage clothes are not covered by the European Kite Mark for safety.  We therefore cannot guarantee that these items are flame proof, or except any liability to the wearer, or to others, in the unlikely event that they should catch fire whilst being worn.
