Christian Dior Formal

This is a stunning dress.  The material is just gorgeous, shot silk, pale gold in colour, with a soft textured sheen and a nylon netted underskirt.  It has a halter neck top and a belt with a rhinestone buckle.  It is everything you would expect from Christian Dior, flattering and beautifully made.

Measurements:  Bust up to 38 (easily altered), Waist up to 29” , Hips: Free - large size 12, small 14.   

Flaws:  Near mint: faint pen mark on top left of neck.

Bond Girl

      Definitely 007  70's classic. Sexy flattering cut to enhance womanly curves with a front split and a deep keyhole back. Dripping with bugle beads and sequins. Simply Bond-tastic!

Measurements: Bust up to 37, Waist up to 28, Hips up to 37"

Flaws: Near Mint: some very minor bead loss - I would dare you to find it!

      Another fabulous bespoke gown where the pictures fail to do justice! Late 50's / early 60's navy blue velvet column dress dripping with sequins and bugle beads, Lined with satin and a fishtail velvet kick pleat at the back. Simply gorgeous!

Measurements: Bust up to 37, waist up to 27, Hips up to 38"

Flaws: Some of the sequins have tarnish, making them a gold colour rather than blue. This adds to the overall look of the dress. Some very minor bead loss. You would have to be very diligent to notice this.

Jackie 'O' Dress & Coat

This is one of the most superior 60's outfits that we have ever seen. It is simply stunning and it needs to be seen to be appreciated. The construction and design are sheer class. Made by the fabulous Malcolm Starr, this outfit is a clear example of why his clothes are  so collectable. Both the coat and the dress have hidden pockets. The detailing is exquisite and  finished by hand. There are a lot of additional images for this outfit - none of them do justice to this masterpiece. The sizing on this dress is a little odd because the bust is not very big but the shape of the dress allows for a bigger size.

Measurements: (Dress) Bust up to 35, Waist up to 32, Hips:40".

Flaws: Dress: None: mint condition. 

Coat: There is a tiny pink lipstick smudge on the back of the collar which is  barely visible and a ball point size dot on the front under the left breast. Neither of these flaws detract from the  quality and beauty of this piece.

Shimmering Sheath

This is a one off sample dress from the fabulous Oleg Cassini label. It is made of delicate beaded mesh with a satin underdress. All the details are in the fabric and the cut which is streamlined for maximum elegance. This is a very long dress, with a train and can not be altered. You need to be at least 5 ft 6 to wear it.

Measurements: Bust up to 35 1/2, Waist up to 28, Hips up to 38.

Flaws: Dress: None: mint condition.
