For those looking for casual elegance than this has to be the perfect dress. Made by the exceptional Galliano, this dress is an 80's twist on the classic 60's Empire dress, with just a hint of Punk thrown in. As you might expect, there are lovely details - such as the ribbon under the bust and the bows on the shoulder straps. This dress is true black but the material has a slightly see through quality. It is lined in the bodice. Measurements: this is an extremely difficult dress to measure because of the stretchy material. it is marked a size 12 but Galliano is not generous with his measurements. Small size 12. Flaws: None: mint condition. Label: Galliano

This divine 70's gown was designed by the fabulous US designer Emma Domb. Featuring the ever flattering Empire waist line, a halter neck and a huge sweep, this dress conjures up images of mythological romance. Its layered chiffon is the most gorgeous burnt orange and peach. The dress comes with a concealed zipper, a rhinestone buckle and a matching cape, (see additional images), ideal for ladies who like their arms to be covered. This is a stunning gown fit for any budding Audrey Hepburn. Made from velvet, satin and encrusted with a rhinestone, pearl and beaded trim. It has a flattering Empire waist and it weighs a ton! It is in fact a contemporary couture gown, originally retailing for over £2,000 but it is a 60's inspired design. Measurements: Bust up to 35, Empire waist up to 32, Hips up to 38".
